So much interest was shown over my book page garland I did over the weekend, so I thought I would do a quick tutorial on how I did it.

Let me start out first By saying This idea was not my own, I got the inspiration to make it from My good friend, Karlee over on Instagram.

This is such an easy DIY I just finished taking photos for it 10 min ago ( that included making a mini-garland to show you!) so I have faith that any of you can do this in 30 min top!

Set the mood for crafting: put on some great crafting music- I’m currently enjoying Johnnyswim on Pandora, but the choice is your own.

fold your book pages in half, crease some to give more interest.

poke your scissor through your pages all at the same time, make sure if goes through all the layers. carefully pull them out keeping the holes aligned.

use your scissor to string the twine though the hole you created and pull the twine through.

and that’s all! It will take lots and lot of pages to re-create a book page garland as large as mine, but oh so worth the little time and minimal effort!

lots-and-lots of pages. use nail and hammer to hang.

I hope this was helpful for you! if you have any questions or suggestions, leave them in the comments!
